Mackerel Christmas Puddings for Cats

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Fork
  • Whisk
  • Baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 1 tin Mackerel
  • 60 g Wholewheat Flour or substitute from list above
  • 30 ml Skimmed Milk
  • 1 Egg lightly whisked
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 170°C
  • Place the fish in a mixing bowl and break it up with a fork.
    1 tin Mackerel
  • Stir in the flour and fish to combine together.
    60 g Wholewheat Flour
  • Add the lightly whisked egg and vegetable oil.
    1 Egg, 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Add the milk a little at a time to form a soft dough.
    30 ml Skimmed Milk
  • Roll the dough with your hands into little bite-size balls suitable for your cat.
  • Place the dough balls apart on a baking sheet.
  • Put them in the oven at 170°C and bake for ten minutes.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack
