Tinka's Happy Hedgehog Meat Balls

Looking for an easy way to make your hedgehog happy? Look no further than these meatballs! They're simple to make and your hedgie will love them.

Equipment

  • 2 Small saucepan
  • Wooden spoon
  • Silicone Cakepop Mold
  • Fork or Potato Masher
  • Rice Steamer optional

Ingredients

  • 250 g Beef Mince lean
  • 1 tsp SF-50 Powder
  • 2 tbsp Canola Oil or Safflower Oil
  • 100 g Dry Cat Food high-quality
  • 50 b Brown Rice

Instructions

  • Cook the rice in a steamer or small saucepan.

  • Brown the mince thoroughly in a saucepan and drain off the excess fat.
    250 g Beef Mince
  • Mash together mince and rice.
  • Add in the SF-50 Powder and Dry Cat food and combine.
    1 tsp SF-50 Powder, 100 g Dry Cat Food
  • Slowly add the Canola Oil ( or Safflower Oil) to form a meatball dough.
    2 tbsp Canola Oil
  • Roll into small balls and put into silicone mold.
  • Freeze overnight.
  • Once frozen, remove from mold and put into freezer bag and label.
  • Defrost thoroughly in refridgerator before feeding to your hedgehog.

Notes

Chef Tinka's Tips
If you want to be fancy, make the recipe above but save the rice, then roll the meatballs into the rice as the last step to make them look like fluffy hedgehogs!
