Not every pet is perfect, but as pet owners we believe that the imperfections of the creatures are what makes them unique and amazing. A specially-abled pet is one with physical or mental disability to varying degrees. Some of the inabilities include a missing limb or eye, hearing and vision impairment, deformities, and behavioral issues related to past trauma. These issues get overlooked in shelters across the country or when an individual decides to take care of them.
