The Innopet Adventure Buggy from Pets Own Us has truly transformed our outdoor adventures with my 10-year-old French Bulldog, who now relies on a wheelchair for mobility.
Initially, Dolly was hesitant to get in, but once strapped in and reassured, she quickly warmed up to her new vehicle and lookout post. Although Dolly is nearly completely blind now, she still enjoys the different smells and sensations that the world has to offer.

We’ve put the buggy to the test on multiple occasions and taken it to our favourite walk around Whitlingham Country Park, just outside Norwich, in Norfolk. This is a beautiful location with a path around the lake and some off-roading over the surrounding parkland and woods.
The buggy has handled all terrains with ease, allowing Dolly to join us on every step of the way. It’s also been a lifesaver during the rather sudden rain showers, keeping her dry and comfortable while still being able to enjoy the fresh air. Unlike me, who got soaked!
What we thought
The robust build, large, EFA solid tires with 360 swivel on the front, and fantastic suspension system, offer a super smooth ride for Dolly and made it easy to push along. Safety is paramount, and the rear brakes keep the stroller secure, even when we were on the sloping bank next to the water.
We let Dolly get out and walk a little bit, but without her wheelchair her mobility is very limited so as soon as she showed signs of tiring I popped her back into the buggy.

Another great feature of the stroller is the spaciousness cabin area. The cabin has plenty of room for Dolly to sit, stand, and even turn around comfortably. It also has a built-in leash clip for added safety and peace of mind.
The pad inside is removable for washing, which we needed to do as Dolly’s muddy paws did make it a bit grubby. I would add here that the pad is very thin so I put in Dolly’s snuggle sack and folded it up a few times to give her an extra bit of comfort on her old, arthritic bones.

The design of the stroller is also worth mentioning. It’s sleek, modern, and easy to manoeuvere. I love the black and gold polkadots, it looks more like a baby pram than a dog pram! Oh and the one handed fold mechanism is also a great feature.

I’ve also found the stroller’s compartments incredibly useful. The storage basket underneath came in very handy for keeping our walkies essentials, water bottles, my jacket and other bits and pieces. Plus, the accessory tray is perfect for keeping my phone and keys within easy reach but locked away as it isn’t obvious that it opens to a passerby. And of course my hot cup of coffee and muffin fit in the cup holders! Essentials for any winter walk in my book.

As for the negatives, there are only a few. The stroller is a bit heavy, and it doesn’t collapse down as much as I would have liked. I drive a very small car, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to fit it in the boot. I have to take the front wheel off to get it in as that bit sticks out a lot. But considering the benefits it offers, these issues are minor.
One of the other things I want to mention about this stroller is its versatility. Not only can it be used for elderly dogs who may struggle with long walks, like Dolly, but for younger puppies who need a break. Dogs who have difficulty walking or are recovering from injuries would love it too. It can hold up to 30kg, which is pretty impressive ( and would make for a good workout, who needs the gym!!) I think it would be suitable for small to medium-sized dogs such as Dachshunds, Pugs, Boston Terriers, a couple of chihuahuas and other similar breeds.
The Verdict
Overall, I highly recommend the Innopet Buggy Adventure Dog Stroller for any dog owner looking to provide their furry companion with a safe, comfortable, and versatile mode of transportation. It has truly enhanced our outdoor adventures and allowed Dolly to continue exploring the great outdoors with us.
Dolly adores it, and it’s impressively strong and exceptionally well-made. You know, they say you get what you pay for, and in the case of the Innopet Buggy Adventure, it’s absolutely true.
