Giving your dog YuMOVE dental care sticks
The dental sticks are easy to give. You simply give one to your dog per day for the first month to really get their teeth regime kickstarted. Dolly loved them straight away. Tricki tried to bury his first, then retrieved it later for a good chew in the privacy of his favourite spot under the Aga.
Once we’d set up the daily routine YuMOVE advised to then give the dogs a dental care stick every other day to maintain healthy teeth and gums. However, Dolly expects one every day so I had to swap another chew like treat in between days to keep her happy. She loved these natural dog chews from her Caboodle boxes.

First impressions of YuMOVE Dental Care Sticks
The first thing I noticed is the spiral shape of the dental stick. Most dental sticks are just straight with grooves, but this one is designed to maximise contact with the tooth surface. This design will help it to effectively clean away existing plaque from the surface of the teeth. It also has this soft centre running through it – it looked like the cream filling of sweet, but the texture was firmer, more like a soft cheese! They don’t smell very much either, well not the human nose!
As the dogs chewed (very enthusiastically I hasten to add), the ActivBarrier™ soft centre is released, targeting the bacteria that cause bad breath and supporting the naturally good bacteria. A cleaner mouth means fresher breath. That’s a win-win from us!

I’ve been using the Yumove dental care sticks on my dogs, Dolly and Tricki, for a a couple of months now and I’ve been really impressed with the results.
Tricki used to have quite a lot of tartar on his teeth and I was starting to worry about his gum health. But since using the dental sticks his mouth is so much healthier. His gums are pinker and his teeth are much cleaner.
Dolly has always had good teeth but I wanted to keep them that way. The dental sticks have definitely helped to keep her teeth clean and healthy and I’ve not noticed any build up of plaque or tartar since using them.
