Getting The Right Orthopaedic Dog Bed Makes All The Difference – Kally Sleep Review

If you’re like most dog owners, you want what’s best for your furry friend. And if your dog is starting to show signs of age-related joint pain, then a good orthopaedic dog bed may be just what the doctor ordered.

As many of you will know my dog Dolly, my French Bulldog has been through a lot in her life. She’s always been a fit and active dog, but her joints have started to give her trouble as she’s gotten older. She’s had major spinal and knee surgery over the last couple of years, has spondylolysis, and is really starting to show her age (she’s 9 this year).

One of the things that she finds very difficult is finding a good spot for a comfy nap. Our house has hard floors (for very practical reasons!) and she struggles to get on and off of the furniture without help.

We have tried many different styles of bed but we always have the same problems. Dolly loves to dig in her bed so anything that isn’t paw-proof doesn’t last long in our house! She often sleeps laying flat on her side and likes to keep her head elevated and it has been tricky to find a bed big enough for her to stretch out with comfy sides that she can use as a pillow, quite often she ends up scrunching up a blanket or using a toy to rest her head on which doesn’t look very comfy.

Cheap memory foam style beds get squashed down quite quickly as she is a Frenchie and quite heavy and compact. And anything filled with stuffing gets lumpy or gutted and we find a pile of white fluff with a Frenchie in the middle.

What did we think of the dog bed?

Dolly has been using her Kally bed for a few weeks now and we are really happy with it. She seems to love it too. I was really excited to try the Kally bed because it’s designed specifically to relieve joint pain and pressure. And wow, does it ever work!

Dolly is noticeably more relaxed and comfortable. Her joints don’t seem to bother her as much anymore, and she’s been sleeping through the night for the first time in months. The bed is a good size for her and the sides are perfect so she can rest her head on them comfortably.

The cover is removable and machine-washable, which is great as she is shedding like mad at the moment so everything is covered in white hair ( maybe I should have chosen the grey bed!). The bed has a fantastic non-slip bottom so we can move it around the house on the tiles to wherever she wants to nap and it stays put, despite the digging!

So, if you’re at all concerned about your dog’s joint health, I highly recommend giving the Kally Orthopaedic Memory Foam Dog Bed a try. You won’t be disappointed! It’s £99 including shipping. Even better they offer a 14-day sleep trial, to help you decide if your dog likes it. So you have nothing to lose. The Kally Orthopaedic Dog Bed comes in medium and large sizes, navy or grey cover, so is perfect for all breeds of dog.

What’s in the box?

  • Washable removable cover – we chose navy as that’s our favourite but it comes in grey too. The cover also has a water and tear-resistant non-slip base. Perfect for my ceramic flooring.
  • Vet-approved memory foam base with a waterproof zip on cover to protect it. This is a great idea because accidents do happen and so does a soggy dog getting into the bed after a wet walk!
  • Hollowfibre bumper – these are really soft and supportive and provided the perfect chin rest for a weary doggo head.

We were impressed with the compact way that it was all packaged saving materials and shipping costs. The memory foam expanded after 24 hours into its full shape.

It was easy to put together, here’s how:

Orthopaedic Memory Foam Dog Beds are not just for old dogs!

Even if your dog is still young and healthy, an orthopaedic memory foam bed can be a great investment. Why? Because chances are good that they’ll start to experience joint pain as they get older. And when that time comes, you’ll be glad you have a bed that’s specifically designed to relieve joint pain and pressure. So even if your dog is still young and spry, go ahead and pick up a Kally Orthopaedic Memory Foam Dog Bed. You’ll be glad you did.

Kally Orthopaedic Memory Foam Dog Bed: The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for a high-quality orthopaedic dog bed that will help keep your furry friend comfortable, the Kally Orthopaedic Dog Bed is a great option. This bed is made with premium materials, ensuring that your pet will be able to rest in comfort. Additionally, the orthopaedic design means that it will support your pet in all positions and the hollow fibre bumper makes a fantastic pillow.

In fact, I am quite jealous of Dolly’s new bed and I think I might be investing in a pillow or three. She loves it so much she preferred being in her bed to being in my daughter’s bed at night and so she hasn’t had a stinky dog fart to wake her up in weeks for which I think she is very grateful!

The bottom line is that the Kally Orthopaedic Memory Foam Dog Bed is an excellent choice for any dog owner who wants to provide their furry friend with relief from joint pain and pressure. It’s well made, comfortable, and comes with features that make it easy to use and care for.

There are a lot of different types of dog beds on the market these days, but not all of them are created equal. If you’re looking for a bed that will support your dog’s joints and muscles, relieve pressure points, and improve circulation, then you need to check out the Kally Orthopaedic Memory Foam Dog Bed. This bed is made with vet-approved memory foam that will provide your pup with all-day comfort. Plus, the low three-sided bumpers and open front make it easy for older dogs to get in and out of, while the robust water-resistant cover stands up to pets who like to dig.
