I liked the look of the photo blanket so I chose that and ordered two personalised photo blankets one for my daughter, and one for me!
The upload process was easy and ordering was simple, which makes a change these days, as interfaces seem to have got more and more complicated instead of easier. Is it me, or is that crazy?
Anyway, I didn’t have to wait long before the order arrived.
The first thing that struck me about the My Picture Photo Blanket is the quality of the materials used. The blankets are heavier than I expected. They are made from polar fleece with a gorgeous grey plush on the reverse and it is soooo soft. When I first laid my hands on it, I was already impressed, and I hadn’t even seen the photo prints yet!
Speaking of the photo prints, the true-to-life photo reproduction on the blanket was breathtaking. For the first blanket I chose a photo of a red panda that I had taken on a trip to the Zoo with my daughter earlier this year. It is rich in colour with a beautiful turquoise green that contrasts with the red fur of the panda and you can see in the photo that it really did come out banging! The second blanket was of a photo of my dear French Bulldog, Dolly. It’s my all time favourite photos of her in the garden and boy, did it come out BRILLIANTLY! My chosen photos were printed in superbly rich detail, and I was amazed at how vibrant and sharp the colours were. I’ve had blankets in the past that were a pain to clean but this one washed very well.
